About Hades
Hades is a Frisian sport horse whom I've had in my care since 2012. After so many years of being together, I can testify that he is the kindest, funniest, and most sentient horse I have ever met. And he makes me laugh. Not little giggles, but huge belly laughs that erupt from deep within me whenever I see him. People often remark that he has a powerful presence, and are left with the impression they have stood before greatness.
Hades was born in Holland, but I met him in California in 2012. After five years in California, I brought him with me to France. For part of his time, he was under contract with the Haras du Pin, the National Stables of France, where he performed for adoring audiences. He even had his own choreographer who worked out routines for his performances of pas de deux. He also performed the carrousel with 9 other horses to a packed outdoor arena.

During the pandemic, Hades came home. I put up fencing and saw him every day. Photographs in the Hades Portfolio were made during that time. Now Hades lives in upper Normandy in a barn near to where I live.
All proceeds from sales go to maintaining Hades' health, wellbeing, equipment upgrades, and organic dust free hay. Thank you for your support.
